Is your smartphone lagging? Or you are not able to perform multitasking in your phone then this can be happen due to low RAM available on your android device. Generally this things happen in low cost android phones.
To perform any task in android whether it is listing of songs or playing high end games, every time RAM has to do the work. If you notice that after opening 2 or 3 apps in background your device starts lagging then you should increase the RAM of your phone.
Generally the RAM is a hardware but we can increase the RAM with the help of SD card which will work as a virtual RAM for android and after doing that you will feel the phone performance is now better than before.
We can increase upto 4gb of RAM by below method so follow them step by step:

- Your device must be rooted. If you don't know about rooting then click here and to root your device go here
- Install “MemoryInfo & Swapfile Check” apk from here to verify whether your phone is supporting swap function or not because the app which we will use in next step require swap function to work. So install and check whether your device is compatible or not. If you got successful message like below then you are happy to go to next step
- Download and install APK Roehsoft Ram Expander (SWAP) and open it.
- Grant root permission if ask.
- Click on Optimal Value button (recommended) then it will show the list of partition available on your device. Select your SD card for swap as shown below.
- Check on Autorun. Check on Notify Icon.
- Now drag or click on SwpFile label and enter number to increase ram like 512,1024 or higher (upto 4gb can be increased)
- Now click on Swap Active icon
- Wait till swap task is finished. It can take up to 5-10 minutes depending on how much you are increasing your RAM and your SD card performance.
Note: For better performance use class 10 SD card.
